Derwent Valley Heritage Way

April 2003 saw the launch of a new long distance walking route through the beautiful Derwent Valley.

The Derwent Valley Heritage Way was developed by the Derwent Valley Trust  and is in sections that tie in closely with public transport to reduce the dependency on the car.
