Derby and South Derbyshire Group of the Ramblers' Association has around 550 members. Many people join to support the work of the RA rather than to walk with a group.

Sunday - these walks are normally between 8 and 17 miles, we often meet at Darley Park Drive Car Park, unless specified in the programme, we then drive out in Derbyshire, Staffordshire or even Cheshire.

Saturday - usually a shorter walk or half day walk, up to 8 to 10 miles

Wednesday - these are walks of 8 to 10 miles maximum, usually starting at 10.30

Summer Evening Walks - evening walks of around 4 miles, usually in South Derbyshire starting at 7pm
